From Invisible to Page 1: An SEO Case Study for Parker Electrical Solutions

Parker Electrical Solutions, a NICEIC-approved electrician serving Essex and London, came to us with a website that had very little visibility for its target local searches. Between May and July 2026, technical SEO, GEO, and AEO/LLM-based optimization took them to page 1 for several of their core local search terms. Here's exactly what was broken and what we did.

The Starting Point

Before working with Devtimize, Parker Electrical Solutions had a basic, largely templated website. It wasn't ranking for the local searches that actually bring in electrical work — searches like "electrician Essex" or "electrician" plus their service towns. The site had very little visibility for anyone searching for an electrician in their area.

What We Did

Technical SEO fixes: corrected broken redirects, resolved keyword cannibalization between similar pages, fixed internal linking so search engines could properly discover every page, and cleaned up indexing issues that were quietly blocking the site from ranking at all.

Town and service page expansion: built out dedicated local pages for the specific towns and services Parker Electrical Solutions actually covers, so the site could compete for real, local buyer-intent searches instead of one generic homepage trying to rank for everything.

GEO and AEO/LLM-based optimization: structured the content so it answers real buyer questions directly, in the format both traditional search engines and AI answer engines can parse and cite.

The Results

Between May and July 2026, Parker Electrical Solutions reached page 1 on Google for several of their core local search terms, including "commercial electrician Essex," "electrical services Essex," "electrical solutions Southend," and "electrician Southend." Other terms, including "EV charger installation Essex" and "electrician Grays," moved onto page 2 and are continuing to climb.

Rankings were manually verified using incognito Google searches to avoid personalization bias. Google Search Console was used to monitor search performance throughout the campaign.

This is an ongoing project — we're continuing to build on this foundation rather than treating it as a one-time fix.
